Edge Crypto Enables Litecoin (LTC) Purchase with Credit, Debit Cards

The multi-coin wallet Edge has released a new version, 1.3.0., which enables Litecoin (LTC) buying with credit and debit cards and expands cryptocurrency offerings with four new coins, Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Tether (USDT), Digibyte (DGB), and Vertcoin (VTC), Edge said on Tuesday.
LTC is the fourth virtual currency that the wallet allowed to be purchased directly via credit and debit cards by using the technology of Simplex payment processing company.
“Now Edge users can buy four different cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC) with a debit or credit card and more will be enabled overtime,” Edge explained.
Edge Wallet 1.3.0. has several new functions like adding per transaction PIN spending limits or showing transaction/event history of Simplex deals.
The release of the new version comes with the adding of four new coins that increased the number of supported cryptos to eleven: LTC, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) as well as Ripple (XRP), Dash (DASH), Monero (XMR), Zcoin (XZC), and Feathercoin (FTC).
EdgeWallet, which provides a platform to hold and trade cryptocurrencies, has around 50,000 downloads from Google Play Store for Android-backed devices. Data for Apple iOS downloads is not available.
At the time of publishing, LTC, which is currently the 7th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, changed hands at $55.71 for one coin. The price was up by 6.13% on a daily basis.
From the four new coins, Bitcoin Gold (24th place) saw the largest increase for the last 24 hours after the Edge announcement. BTG was traded at $19.14 for one coin, which was up by 16.16% compared to Tuesday.

- Digibyte (DGB): Traded at $0.025 per coin, with a 15.12% increase over the last day.
- Vertcoin (VTC): Traded at $0.67 per coin, rising by 4.62%.
- Tether (USDT): Down 0.19% compared to Tuesday.
