BlockEX Launches Crypto Exchange, Hires Sublime Group as Market Maker

BlockEx’ digital asset exchange platform (DAxP) targets institutional clients and offers a wide array of digital products for blockchain trading.

Blockchain startup BlockEx, which provides services to financial institutions, announced it has launched its multi-asset trading platform BlockEx Markets and has appointed digital asset management company Sublime Group as a market maker.

“Market Making is a core part of any mature exchange and we are particularly delighted to welcome Sublime Group aboard to our market maker program because they are a great fit for our business,” Adam Leonard, CEO of BlockEx, said in the official announcement.

In the last six months the company released its own token, the DAXT; delivered a string of third-party Initial Coin Offering (ICOs); and started a partnership to roll out a regulated service in the US. “And we have an exciting pipeline of further initiatives planned for the rest of 2018,” Leonard added.

The digital asset exchange platform (DAxP) of BlockEx is mainly intended for institutional clients. It includes a digital asset creation tool, exchange, clearing, settlement, registry and brokerage software. It supports trading of ICO tokens, cryptocurrencies, and other digital assets, such as debt, equity, insurance products that can be traded for fiat currencies.

The DAxP offers advanced order types like Limit Order, Stop Loss and Stop Entry. Iceberg orders will also be added. There is the option to execute large block orders through the over-the-counter (OTC) platform.

BlockEx was established in 2014 and offers several types of services and products. The company manages the entire lifecycle of blockchain based digital assets, including origination, issuance, exchange, settlement and redemption. It provides brokerage software, supports the issuance of regulation-compliant ICOs and can issue digital bonds. Its token DAXT can be used for trading of ICOs on the DAxP.

Sublime Groups offers digital asset management and customized as well as compliant tokenization and creation of digital assets.
