Verge (XVG) Integrated Into Pundi X Point Of Sale (POS) System

Verge partners with Pundi X to make XVG easily available and usable for the masses.

Taking another step towards mass adoption, cryptocurrency Verge (XVG) has integrated into Indonesian blockchain startup Pundi X’s Point of Sale (POS) ecosystem. As a result of the partnership, Pundi X POS terminals will now allow users to make purchases using XVG, with supported retailers worldwide.

Verge took to Twitter to reveal the partnership:

The integration was also announced via ablog post:

“Verge Currency is proud to announce its integration with the Pundi X ecosystem across the world. Pundi X, the Point Of Sale (“POS”) solution that makes buying products with crypto at local stores as simple as buying a bottle of water.”

Pundi X’s POS system offers a solution to a key problem – the difficulty of trying to pay for real-world products with cryptocurrencies, and the inability to buy, sell, and accept crypto on a day-to-day basis. The process of using and purchasing crypto via an exchange can be complicated and time-consuming. Pundi X’s POS system, however, simplifies the process by handling fiat to crypto conversion (and vice versa) in real-time, saving users the hassle of acquiring or liquidating their crypto holdings.

Additionally, Pundi X also offers XPASS cards (equivalent to debit cards) which can hold multiple cryptocurrencies and can be used to purchase goods at stores which have Pundi X POS terminals.

The company’s plan, at present, is to roll out the POS devices across Asia. Last month, for example, Pundi X announced that users would now be able to pay with crypto at four Hong Kong restaurants via POS terminals.

Currently, in addition to XVG, Pundi X also supports payments in various other cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), NEM (XEM), Stellar (XLM), Qtum (QTUM), Zcash (ZEC), and Binance Coin (BNB), as well as its own native token NPXS.

The partnership marks another stepping stone in XVG’s quest for mass adoption. The privacy-focused cryptocurrency has multiple partnerships (including its much-hyped team-up with PornHub earlier this year) under its belt, and was recently listed on crypto exchange Huobi.
