Monaco’s Cryptocurrency to Trade on 4 Top Asian Crypto Exchanges
Monaco Technology’s cryptocurrency will be listed on four more crypto exchanges as of December 5. The announcement pushed its price up, with MCO gaining 38.4%.
Blockchain-based payments platform Monaco Technology announced that its cryptocurrency of the same name is to be listed on four crypto exchanges starting on December 5. It will be available for trading on Huobi.pro, BigONE, Exchange X (EXX.com), and OKEx.
The move will help Monaco’s cryptocurrency grow in terms of liquidity as these global crypto exchanges have a total of around five million users.
The announcement has triggered a rally in the token price, with MCO rising over 38% to go from $6.72 to $9.01 at the time of writing.
Monaco co-founder and CEO Kris Marszalek said: “It is humbling to see this level of support from leading platforms in Asia, culminating in a simultaneous MCO listing. It's a clear demonstration that this fiercely competitive industry knows the importance of standing united for the right cause. We are confident that with the support of these exchanges, Monaco and its partners will drive cryptocurrency adoption seamlessly together.”
Today, Monaco’s token can be traded on crypto exchanges such as Bittrex, EtherDelta, Liqui, Binance, YoBit, and Livecoin.
BigOne co-founder and CEO Eric Meltzer said: “Adding the MCO Token to BigONE is a tremendous value add to our users. With our focus on security and innovative rewards and deals, we are keen [to] support Monaco's efforts of making cryptocurrency available to the masses.”
OKEx CEO Chris Lee noted: “We are excited to provide another trading option to our users. Our teams have been focused on bringing online new tokens and futures, and it's great to see our efforts pay off. We welcome Monaco and their community as we continue on our quest to best serve our users.”
According to Huobi COO Robin Zhu, the launch of the MCO cryptocurrency reflects the company’s expansion drive and growing interest in digital assets.
Earlier, the cryptocurrency card payments system announced a collaboration with Visa, allowing its users to spend tokens at any of Visa's 44 million retailer partners across the globe.
Despite all the recent deals, Monaco is still far from its record high in August 2017, when it reached around $25. The system changed its code, which made investors lose confidence.
