Investment Firm Global Blockchain Technologies Joins Hyperledger

Global Blockchain Technologies Corp (GBTC), a blockchain-oriented venture capital firm listed on the Toronto Stock Venture Exchange (TSX-V), has joined the Hyperledger Foundation, and also partnered with Wachsman PR, a public relations firm which focuses on media relations and brand development.

Global Blockchain Technologies is a Vancouver-based investment firm that was founded in 2010 as Carrus Capital Corporation and changed its brand name in October.

Global Blockchain was added to the Hyperledger Foundation, which, according to the company, represents an excellent opportunity to work together with major players of the blockchain industry, such as Stellar, NEO, Ethereum and Graphene.

The Hyperledger project was initiated two years ago by the Linux Foundation, and its list of members includes Cisco, IBM, Airbus, American Express, Daimler, and JP Morgan among others. The goal of the project is to explore the potential of distributed ledger technology (DLT) and implement it in various sectors.

Additionally, Global Blockchain Technologies partnered with Wachsman PR, a New York-based PR company that focuses on blockchain-oriented entities. Wachsman has managed public relations campaigns for companies like Kraken, Steemit and Agentic Group among others.

Rik Willard’s Statement

“We are proud to establish these critical relationships with the Hyperledger Foundation and Wachsman PR. As a new entrant in the space led by seasoned veterans from various areas of the blockchain industry, we will remain open and eager to explore and enhance our understanding of a variety of distributed platforms. We feel that there is room for multiple decentralized and distributed solutions, so we are very excited by the opportunity to work with the Hyperledger Foundation, which offers a diverse set of software options for enterprise applications.”

He added that the partnership with Wachsman PR would help GBTC better integrate into the blockchain space:

“Our collaboration with Wachsman PR will allow us to better engineer the growth of prominent blockchain startups and allow GBTC to effectively communicate its mission to promote some of the world's most promising companies in this rapidly-developing space.”

David Wachsman’s Remarks

“Wachsman PR is thrilled to be working with Global Blockchain Technologies Corp. Its team has demonstrated continuous dedication to the innovation and development of blockchain since its early days. The need for educated investors in the space who are willing support early-stage blockchain companies will only multiply, and GBTC has proven itself to be a committed advocate of such startups.”
