Krypton Capital is delighted to announce that following the 10th Charitable Evening and Silent Auction in support of UCU (Ukrainian Catholic University) a monetary donation was made and a blockchain scholarship was established for talented students. UCU is a non-profit institution with the ambitious aim to foster a new generation of professionally educated leaders with high standards of integrity and a sense of social responsibility.

The event that took place in Kiev on December 2, 2017, was hosted by the Ukrainian Catholic University to attract investors and sponsors that could finance the development of the University and support the education of young talent.

The donation and the sponsorship are part of Krypton Capital’s ongoing commitment to support the youth and promote the development of blockchain technology. There’s an incredibly strong alignment between the two organizations’ commitments to promote high educational standards and best practices throughout the world.

The Ukrainian Catholic University has a rich history as it was established in Lviv in 1929 and re-established in 2002 on the basis of Lviv Theological Academy. This is the first Catholic university in the territory of the former USSR internationally recognized by the Congregation for Catholic Education. This is the private university where 1,500 students get higher education in history, archeology, philosophy, religion and other courses. The University provides quality higher and post-graduate education and strives to develop new programs that will prepare young specialists relevant to the current needs of the Ukrainian society.
