BitPanda, the user-friendly, but conservative exchange service, has finally added Bitcoin Cash to its small selection of coins. Initially, BitPanda encouraged users to withdraw their Bitcoin balance, as it would not offer split coins.

Bitcoin’s Entry into Financial Markets is a Threat, Says ECB Executive Board Member

But a few months later, the liquidity of BCH has made BitPanda consider the option. As usual, the purchase comes at a minimum investment of 25 Euros. At the moment, BCH can be exchanged for just below 2,000 EUR, and the asking price is 2,080 EUR. BitPanda announced:

"Due to the cancellation of the planned Segwit2x fork in November 2017, many people have turned to BCH instead. This results in a much higher demand for Bitcoin Cash. Therefore, at the end of December 2017, we have launched a full Bitcoin Cash support including a wallet service. Everything is running smoothly and we feel ready to announce the 5th fully integrated Coin on Bitpanda: BCH."

BitPanda is not a trading platform and charges fees for making trades at a pre-determined price. The major attraction of the platform is the fully compliant company, making the service reliable and with solid connections to servicing banks.

Putting fiat on board with BitPanda is possible through SEPA (EuroArea) transactions, as well as through debit cards. The only drawback is, some transactions require a lot of confirmations before appearing in the wallet. Withdrawing the assets offered to a personal wallet has additional fees, varying depending on the cryptocurrency.

In addition, all Bitcoin addresses on BitPanda have now integrated SegWit, with a possibility of lower fees.

Recently, BitPanda had issues with its Ethereum wallet and ETH transfers, but those have been resolved. Three years after its launch, BitPanda has felt the load of traffic, especially in the case of BTC and ETH.

But BitPanda is doing one more thing to popularize BCH: it is now available through pre-paid vouchers distributed through the Austrian Post service. All the coins on BitPanda can also be used to purchase Amazon.de vouchers.
