Micah Winkelspecht spent more than a decade working as a software engineer for various companies before establishing Gem in 2013. The company’s platform applies blockchain technology to identity, data, logic, and network management in multiple industries, including finance and healthcare. Winkelspecht is currently CEO of Gem. Earlier, he co-founded and served as CEO of InSupply.com - a drop-ship product sourcing website connecting small online retailers with leading product distributors. Winkelspecht has worked in various capacities for companies including Atari, Electronic Arts, 7 Studios, and AT&T Interactive (later YP). Winkelspecht has a BS in business administration, entrepreneurship, and international business from the University of Southern California.
