Chris Dixon, a general partner at venture capital investment firm Andreessen Horowitz, has co-founded several companies and is one of the most famous internet entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. In 2009, Dixon and Caterina Fake launched Hunch – a collaborative decision-making platform. The business was subsequently acquired by eBay and Dixon joined the e-commerce group. He also co-founded Founder Collective and SiteAdvisor, the latter becoming part of McAfee in 2006. Among Dixon’s personal investments are technology startups Kickstarter, Warby Parker, Stripe, Pinterest, Foursquare, Flatiron Health, Bloomreach, Stack Overflow, and Optimizely. He has led numerous investments for Andreessen Horowitz and currently serves on the boards of Coinbase, Airware, Oculus VR, and Shapeways. Dixon has a BA and an MA from Columbia University, where he majored in philosophy.He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
